Working in Brampton
What a Brampton Renovation Usually Involves
Brampton’s housing splits roughly in two. Bramalea and the older neighbourhoods were built from the 1960s onward, while Springdale, Castlemore and Mount Pleasant are largely detached and semi-detached homes from the last three decades.
The most common request is the basement: finished living space for a growing household, or a self-contained second unit. A second unit needs a building permit and has specific requirements for ceiling height, egress, fire separation and entrances, so the layout is checked against them before anything is drawn. Above grade, the work is usually kitchens and bathrooms brought up from builder-grade; outside, it is interlock walkways, decks and fences.
Brampton runs its own building division, so permits and inspections are handled by the City of Brampton rather than Toronto or Mississauga. The City also has its own rules for additional residential units, and we work to whichever requirements apply.

Why ZaRRuS
Why Brampton Homeowners Work With Us
ZaRRuS is a new company name led by hands-on construction experience in high-end interior finishing, millwork and outdoor work. Projects are owner-managed, specialized scopes go to experienced trade specialists, and the finish standard is the starting point rather than an upgrade.
Many Brampton homes are relatively new and structurally sound, so the budget can go into layout, finishes and the details that make a basement or kitchen feel finished rather than merely complete.
You deal with one point of contact throughout. Scope is written down before work starts, and changes are priced and approved before they happen.
