How long does a feature wall take to build?
One to three weeks depending on whether a fireplace unit, stone or integrated lighting is involved. Electrical and gas coordination, where needed, is scheduled before finishing starts.
What’s included in a fireplace wall installation?
Framing, surround, finish material, integrated shelving and concealed cable routing. Supply and certification of a gas or electric fireplace unit is coordinated but installed to manufacturer and code requirements.
Do I need a permit for a fireplace or feature wall?
Finish work does not require a permit. Gas appliance installation must be done by a licensed technician, and structural changes to the wall may require one.
